Can you build to our marine engineer’s drawings?
Yes. Matt has extensive experience with rated and compliance-related fabrication. Send the drawings, materials, loads and documentation requirements so the fabrication and verification scope can be agreed.
How is pontoon movement allowed for?
The site design establishes the movement range and the hinge, roller or guide arrangement. We fabricate the frame and interfaces to those details, coordinating the deck transitions and clearances with the designer.
Can the gangway accommodate trolleys or equipment?
Yes. Include the loaded equipment weight, wheel contact, turning space and required clear width in the brief. Those details are considered with the pedestrian use, deck surface and complete support design.
Can you replace a gangway without replacing the pontoon?
Yes, a new gangway can be made around suitable existing structures. Send the current connections, support details and site movement information so Matt can coordinate the replacement and any interface alterations.
