Fixed & hinged guards
Folded sheet or mesh guards over belts, chains, couplings and cutters, bolted on or hinged with tool-release fasteners.

Home / Products / Machine guards
Fixed and hinged guards, mesh enclosures, belt and chain covers, nip-point guards and interlock-ready doors fabricated to fit the machinery you already run. Stainless for food plants, powder-coated steel or aluminium for the workshop floor.
The range
Catalogue guarding rarely fits an older machine or a home-built line. We measure the hazard, the access the operator needs and the switches your safety consultant specifies, then build to that.
Folded sheet or mesh guards over belts, chains, couplings and cutters, bolted on or hinged with tool-release fasteners.
Framed mesh panels and doors around robots, presses and packaging lines, with interlock cut-outs and gates.
Roller, pulley and nip-point guards for conveyors, with lift-off sections for maintenance.
Hygienic guarding with sloped tops and open frames that hose down.
Indicative pricing
Indicative range only. Size, material, mesh versus sheet, hinges and interlock provisions all move the price.
From a single belt cover to a framed mesh enclosure with doors.
Single guards $450–$2,000; enclosures $3,000–$15,000 + GST
We fabricate to your or your safety consultant's guarding spec; the risk assessment and interlock design remain with you.
Questions
No. A safety consultant or your own health and safety person identifies the hazards and the guarding standard. We turn that into steel that fits and works.
Yes. Older machines with no guarding at all are the usual job. We measure on site and build guards that use existing bolt holes where possible.
Mesh keeps the machine visible and cool; solid sheet contains swarf, coolant and noise. Most enclosures use both, with solid panels where things fly and mesh where operators need to see.
How it works
We confirm size, materials, the loadings or spec and how it will be used.
It is all priced before any steel is cut, so there are no surprises.
Built in the Patumahoe workshop to the agreed spec.
