Common questions about stainless steel shelving and racks.
How much weight can a stainless wall shelf take?
A 1.2 mm folded shelf on welded gussets comfortably carries a normal load of pots and containers. For heavy loads we go to 1.5 mm and add extra brackets or a full-length rear rail.
Can you fit shelves to a coolroom panel wall?
Yes. Coolroom panels need spreader plates or through-fixings rather than plain screws, and we supply brackets designed for panel walls.
Do you make slatted shelves for drying?
Yes. Tube-slat and perforated shelves drain and dry faster than solid ones and are common in dish areas and food plants.
