Questions

Common questions about steel planter boxes and garden edging.

Will corten stain the deck or paving?

In the first months of weathering, rust run-off can mark light surfaces. Feet, a drip tray or pre-rusting in the workshop before delivery mostly avoids it.

What thickness do you use?

Planters are usually 2–3 mm corten or 1.5–2 mm stainless, so they stay flat and square when full of wet soil. Edging is 3–5 mm depending on height.

Do the planters have drainage?

Yes, drainage holes as standard, and a raised base or feet so water clears. Planters on decks can have a welded drip tray.
