The designs
Nine designs, one material.
Every box is folded and welded from 304 stainless in the Patumahoe workshop, so it won’t rust, fade or need painting. Sizes are external, in millimetres.
Basic
305H × 250W × 310D mm
A compact, square-fronted box with a sloped lid. The simplest of the range.
Style
180H × 335W × 400D mm
Low and wide with a tapered lid — sits neatly on a wall or fence top.
Urban
370H × 235W × 375D mm
Tall and narrow with a hinged top flap, suited to tighter frontages.
Practical
305H × 400W × 385D mm
Wide-format box with a flat overhanging lid and a generous mail slot.
Cottage
315H × 410W × 385D mm
A pitched, gabled roof — the traditional letterbox shape in polished stainless.
Contemporary
310H × 400W × 385D mm
Clean-lined flat-top box with a full-width slot under the lid.

Questions
Common questions about stainless steel letterboxes.
Will the letterbox rust near the coast?
304 stainless does not rust in normal use. In heavy salt-spray areas a satin finish and a rinse now and then keep it looking new, or ask for 316 stainless.
Can I mount it on my own post?
Yes. Every box comes with fixing holes for a wall, fence or your own post. The 1500 mm stainless mounting pole is an option if you want everything to match.
Can you make a letterbox to my own design?
Yes. Send a sketch with rough sizes, or describe the style you want, and we will quote a one-off in the same stainless and finish.
