Common questions about fire pits, braziers and BBQ plates.
Steel or stainless for a fire pit?
Mild steel weathers to a rust-brown patina and is cheaper. Stainless stays bright and suits decks and coastal spots. Both are heavy plate and will outlast anything from a chain store.
Can you make a hotplate to fit my existing BBQ?
Yes. Send the length, width and any notch or bar details and we will cut and finish a 5–6 mm steel or stainless plate to drop in.
Do you deliver outside Auckland?
Yes. Fire pits and plates are couriered or freighted anywhere in New Zealand; we quote freight with the job.
