Paired equipment ramps
Separate ramps considered for wheeled or tracked equipment, with spacing, contact area and cross support designed around the specified machine.

Home / Products / Equipment loading ramps
We fabricate loading ramps around your machine, deck height and attachment arrangement. Matt has extensive experience with rated fabrication and compliance, and works through the load, geometry and verification needed for your equipment before agreeing the design.

Loading requirements
Machine weight and weight distribution, tyre or track contact, approach angle and deck attachment all shape the ramp design. Send details of the complete loading manoeuvre so Matt can establish the required capacity and support.

Discuss a wider loading surface for equipment whose wheel arrangement does not suit a pair, allowing for handling and storage as well as use.
Ramp ends and attachment details coordinated with the actual trailer or truck deck. Existing edge structure must be suitable for the intended load.
Replacement ramps and revised loading arrangements, designed from the machine details, deck measurements and intended use.
Indicative pricing
Researched planning estimates in NZD, excluding GST. Required load, geometry, material, connections and any engineering or verification affect the quote.
An indicative starting point for a fabricated pair after the intended load and geometry have been assessed. Supply only.
Estimated $1,800–$6,000 + GST per pair
Engineering, testing, deck alterations, installation and transport are priced separately where required. Capacity is confirmed for the agreed design; large or specialist ramps may fall outside this estimate.
Questions
Capacity is established for the specific ramp design. Send the loaded equipment weight, axle or track arrangement, deck height and loading conditions. Matt can work through the design and any engineering or verification needed to confirm the working capacity.
Deck height and ramp length set the loading angle, while wheelbase and ground clearance affect whether the machine grounds out at either end. Photos and measurements of the actual setup are needed to assess those transitions.
The connection is designed around the trailer edge and the forces during loading. Send close photos and details of the deck structure so Matt can specify a suitable end profile, fixing and retention arrangement.
Include the storage space on the trailer or truck, who will move the ramps and whether lifting assistance is available. Those details help determine the overall arrangement and any handles, supports or storage brackets.
How it works
We confirm size, materials, the loadings or spec and how it will be used.
It is all priced before any steel is cut, so there are no surprises.
Built in the Patumahoe workshop to the agreed spec.
Collection, delivery and any installation are arranged as agreed in your quote.
