01 / Made for the job

A practical stable starts with its doors and divisions.

Consider the route through the aisle, the space to open a door and how each horse uses its bay. We arrange frames, latches and infill around those details, with access for changing bedding and inspecting each compartment.

01

Stable front assemblies

A complete front with its door, fixed panels and agreed infill, sized to an existing opening or a new stable layout.

02

Dividing partitions

Full or partly open dividers between bays, with sightlines, horse behaviour and attachment to the surrounding structure considered.

03

Stable doors and frames

Hinged, split or sliding door assemblies with latches and guides selected for the opening and the space available in the aisle.

04

Replacement and matching sections

New fronts, infill frames or divider sections made to coordinate with an existing stable block and its usable fixing points.

02 / Price & scope

Indicative custom stable front pricing.

Planning estimates in NZD, excluding GST. Front width, door arrangement, infill, hardware and protective finish determine the final quote.

04 / The practical details

Questions about custom horse stable fronts and partitions.

Can you build fronts for large or strong horses?

Yes. Matt builds substantial frames, doors and connections around the horses using the stable. Tell him their size and behaviour so the infill, latches and attachment details are chosen for the job.

Can a sliding door work in a narrow aisle?

Yes. We can arrange the door and track around the available wall space. Send the clear opening, the space beside it and nearby posts or fittings so the door has a practical parking position.

Can you use the existing stable posts?

Yes, we can design the new panels around suitable existing posts. Photos, dimensions and the condition of the supporting structure let Matt detail the connections and any strengthening needed.

Can the lower panels be replaced later?

Yes. Metal infill can be retained in framed sections with an agreed removal method. Tell Matt how you clean the stable so the edges, fixings and access suit routine maintenance.
