Do sliders need LVV certification?
Requirements depend on the vehicle and proposed attachments or modifications. Send the design to your vehicle specialist or certifier before work starts so any requirements can be included in the fabrication brief.
Can I jack the vehicle off them?
Yes, we can build sliders specifically for use as vehicle jacking points. Include that use in the brief so Matt can design the sliders, mounts and chassis attachment for lifting and arrange any required engineering or verification for the finished installation.
Will they fit my ute?
We fit them to the vehicle rather than working from a catalogue, so most utes and 4WDs are straightforward. Bring it in for a measure, or send photos and the model and year.
What finish do you recommend?
Powder coat looks best and lasts well on a road vehicle. For a truck that gets used hard, hot-dip galvanising or a thick single-pack enamel is easier to touch up after a rock.
