A tall bath can reduce bending for the groomer but needs a manageable way for the dog to enter. A lower tub can suit larger dogs or a shared utility space. Work through those trade-offs before choosing the frame and sides.
Lower-entry wash tubs
A lower tub or an agreed entry opening for dogs that cannot comfortably be lifted, with splash control and door details discussed for the job.
Splash panels & accessories
Rear or side panels, shelf positions and attachment points arranged around the room without obstructing taps, handling or cleaning.

Can you make a bath for a large dog?
Yes. Send the dog’s approximate size and weight and explain how it will enter. Matt can plan the floor support, turning room, side height and entry arrangement around those details.
Can you include a ramp or steps?
Yes. Available floor space, the dog’s mobility and the wet environment affect the choice. Matt can incorporate an entry aid with its surface, support and attachment suited to the bath.
How do you stop hair blocking the waste?
The design can allow a removable hair-catching fitting and access to the waste. Choose the waste components with the plumber and make sure they can be removed and cleaned without dismantling the bath.
What working height should I choose?
Start with a height that lets the groomer reach the dog comfortably, then consider how the dog enters and how high the bath floor sits within the frame. Share the operator’s preferred working height and the range of dogs using the bath.
