The range
Crates for the ute, the trailer and the small truck.
Steel crates rust and weigh a tonne; imported alloy crates are the wrong size for a NZ tray. We build them to the deck with the door, the divider and the height the animals need.
Calf crates
Low crates with solid lower sides, a non-slip floor and a rear door for carting calves from the paddock.
Sheep & pig crates
Full-height crates with mesh or slatted sides, a divider and a ramp for sheep, pigs and goats.
Trailer & truck crates
Crates for tandem trailers and small trucks, with double decks for sheep where wanted.

Common questions about ute stock crates and calf crates.
How do I get the crate on and off?
Crates have lifting lugs and clip into pins on the tray. A lighter calf crate is a two-person lift; bigger crates use a hoist, a forklift or legs that let you drive out from under.
Will it fit my ute?
We build to your tray size, with the rear door where the tailgate or ramp lands. Wellside crates are shaped around the arches.
Can I move sheep and calves in the same crate?
Yes. A removable divider and a lower solid panel let one crate do both, with a mesh upper section for airflow.
